Cleaning Piano During Coronavirus Outbreak

Keep in mind that always treating the pianos gently!!!

For your home pianos played only by you or your children, it is safe to using a soft disposable towel with warm water vapor and hand/dish soap to clean the keys and case parts. Immediately, to dry any standing liquid by a dry disposable towel.

For "deep cleaning" keys, using alcohol-based disinfectant wipes, never use bleach-based disinfectants or any products containing citrus.  But, piano case parts finishes can be easily damaged by disinfectant wipes or sprays. Pressing hard and vigorous scrubbing can lead to scratching or removing the finish.

As always, keeping temperature and humidity from sudden and big changes where piano is located.
